When Michelangelo was asked how he created a piece of sculpture, he answered that the statue already existed within the marble.

This is how I’ve always felt for the wood. Every piece carries a story, deeper history not only of the tree itself but also of the larger ecosystem, forest, animals, funghi, hickers, lovers and waters for the time being.

My goal is simply to remove excessive wood and allow the story to unveil itself. Each piece then carries legacy on as a part of the guitarist.

My deepest desire is to join all luthiers of Slovenia, to breath as one body. With mutual respect and help so much more can be achieved.
